I'd normally wait until the acutal day, but I'll bet you never thought you'd share your special day with one of the the momentous occurrances in this country.
So, instead of being late (as usual) I thought I'd get in early, announce my best wishes, and then not feel bad when I realized, watching the Super Bowl, that it was also your birthday. Not having a computer terminal where I'll be watching the game, I'd be looking at the empty margarita glass and thinking I should be doing something special...
So, tomorrow, during the game, at the first refill, I'll raise the glass to you.
Let's see...you're east of here, but then again, almost everyone this board is east of here. Easy. Face east, cheer "Happy Birthday, Sycamore", then go back to the game.

Wish I could have watched the game. I did get a network connection that provided play by play. Started "observing" just after half-time, with the score 14-3. "Hey, these guys just might pull this off!" As I had to do some real work, I missed some of the fourth quarter and seeing the game get tied kind of slowed the testing I was doing down a bit. At the end, whoever was typing in the play-by-play got a bit involved as the d**m play-by-play kept changing stories. First the Patriots lost the ball on downs, then they didn't then they got to the 30 with 7 seconds and a very loooooooong time elapsed. Next thing I see is the game is over...Something must have happened, but by the time I got home, all I wanted to do is go to bed and get some sleep. Someone will have taped the game, and I believe I want to at least watch the last quarter.

Just like Pittsburg, going into the game with New England with the predisposition that they were winning the game before it started, the Lambs (sorry, Rams) got themselves fleeced just by thinking the game was a walk in the park. I believe the Rams got a wake-up call in the second half, but having hit the snooze button early in the game appears to have been their downfall.</p>
